Perfect for my 2 year old's first overnight trip Sep 22, 2008
I ordered this for my 2 year old's first plane ride to grandma's house. I knew going in that I would end up carrying it most of the time, but wanted to see how he did with a rolling backpack.

As soon as it was out of the box, he was filling it with toys and pushing it around the room (mostly forward like a walker). After a few minutes, he lost interest, but kept going back to it. He also loves that it's Diego (Dee-Doh). Once I showed him that he can put it on his back, he kept asking for it "on" and walked around with it on his back, feeling pretty cool about himself.

We haven't taken it on our trip yet, but so far, after heavy play use, it has proved to be durable, with smooth rolling wheels and zippers, and holds several toys, books, and two days worth of clothes and diapers easily, without being too heavy.

I highly recommend this for a parent looking for a good overnighter for their kiddo. It is a great value for the price.

Great travel bag for Diego lovers! Jul 14, 2008
We bought this bag for my 2 and a half year old for airport traveling and couldn't be happier with it. He loves being able to carry his blankie, sippy cup, and a few books and snacks all by himself. The backpack straps tuck away so they stay out of the way and clean while he rolls the bag. Bag rolls smoothly and isn't as large as some of the other packs out there, so when he wears it on his back, it doesn't seem to pose any trouble for him. Perfect size, easily adjustable straps, zippers work well, water resistant, and easy to clean. He likes to take it everywhere with him now, and I honestly don't mind because that's just less stuff I have to carry around for him. I also gave this 4 stars for educational value because it makes him think of what he wants to bring whenever we go out. :)
