Happy With Elmo Nov 20, 2009
I thought this Elmo would be a little bigger, but when my son carried it around I realized its the perfect size. He recognizes Elmo on tv and runs to grab his Elmo. No complaints, its great if you just want elmo that does nothing but snuggles with your little one.

Perfect "no frills" Elmo! Oct 14, 2009
We ordered this as a birthday present for my son's 2 year bday. It was shipped quickly and the company even wrapped it in red tissue paper.
When my son opened the box he was so excited! He gave Elmo a big hug and kiss and then played with Elmo for over an hour. He used the tissue paper as Elmo's "blanket" and the box as his "bed" and kept saying Night night to Elmo.
I am sure we will get alot of use from this toy. He is well made, soft and the perfect size for a toddler to tote around. My six year old wanted to play with it too!
I hope Gund makes a similar cookie monster, we will order that next!

Got for 2 yr old son. He loves it. Paint coming off eyes already but otherwise in good condition. Soft and a good size.

NOT FOR UNDER 3! Aug 20, 2009
Am extremely concerned to see user photos and user reviews where a child under 3 is playing with this toy. There is a clear warning on the page that it is not suitable for children under 3.

Like many of the other parents writing here, my 19 month old is Elmo-obsessed currently, but we need to keep shopping for a safer version of him to share with our toddlers.

My 16 month old daughter loves this doll. She became Elmo obsessed about 2 months ago. She had an Elmo doll that talked every time its head flipped back, which she loved. But she wanted to take it to bed with her and it would make noises every time she rolled over. We could not find one that didn't talk in any store. This doll has been fabulous. She does not go anywhere without it and we don't have to hear it constantly. She actually prefers this one over the talking Elmo.
