 Great Legos for Reasonable Price Nov 18, 2009
I got this for my sons aged 5 and 7. Great value, hate all the little teeny, tiny pieces that will FOR SURE get lost, swept up, vacuumed up,e tc., but otherwise a great starter set for kids. Good booklet too with building ideas, however I wish they had included more building ideas, especially to stimulate the imagination of my younger son. Overall, excellent produce though. Only one suggestion to lego with this kind of container -- maybe a sub section just for the teeniest of pieces? Otherwise, overall A+

Great Value, lots of pretending to do with this set. Great for kids who like to build things, sturdy pieces and lots of them. Good idea for kids just getting into Legos, lots of basic pieces. I am very pleased with this set.

It's a great gift for my 4 yr. old grandson. It will allow him to be creative, increase his dexterity, and have a building set that grows with him!

Great assortment, but... Oct 25, 2009
My son loves this set, at 3 he just covered the square with one level, I don't think he got building up until after I showed him multiple times, but now at just over 4 he is building intricate things. The only reason I give this a 4 stars overall, is because I wanted to use the bucket to store ALL of his Legos in (the box only comes about 1/3 full at the most), but the larger green board for building on wouldn't fit, and the board it comes with is tiny, inhibiting big creative projects. Otherwise an awesome toy that brings out the kid in me as well when I play with my son.
