Good price but messed up! Mar 03, 2010 I got this toy for my nephews b-day and well when I got it I checked to make sure it was in the box than just wrapped it and gave it to him.... WELL when he got it he started to ride it and it makes a HORRIABLE clicking noise and its cracked behind the front blades my guess is its from the way they shipped it!!!!!! I felt like a complete jerk for giving him this toy.. yes its very cute and he LOVES planes so over all it was going to be a GREAT buy its just annoying the click and dont know how long it will last untill the crack gets bigger and it breaks!!!
It's a hit! Feb 19, 2010 What can I say? My two-year-old son LOVES this toy. The sounds are tolerable from the standpoint of the Parent Who Must Endure It. It's pretty cute. He also love that the wings fold up and down.
The only downside is that you better not walk into it. I did, and I have the bruised ankle to prove it. But hey, it's not the toy's fault!
We've had this toy since Thanksgiving 2009, and it's holding up just fine. Interestingly, my son hasn't been able to remove the seat/storage lid. He has another riding toy with a similar compartment under the seat, and you can't get him to keep the seat-lid on. Not so with this toy. The lid stays put, doesn't stick, and provides great fun.
On a serious note, do be careful not to let your youngster use this as a step stool. I found my little guy trying to use it to reach things on the kitchen counter. So like other toys of this nature, don't leave your child unattended with it. Especially rambunctious two-year-old boys!
My grandson is flying high with his new plane!!! Feb 11, 2010 My grandson just turned 1 yr old and this was his gift from me. He loves it! He sits on it to watch TV, he talks to Elmo and loves the propeller when it is spinning. He is adorable on his plane. Great gift!
Sesame Fly with Elmo Ride-On Feb 08, 2010 When we first started looking for a ride on toy for our son, we wanted to make sure it was safe, fun, and not very loud. We also wanted to make sure it could take a beating as our son is all boy and has 3 older siblings. It has been a great toy for him. He likes the spot under the seat that he can put his other little toys in. We've had it for 2 months now and it has not let us down. No little pieces that can be pulled off, not easily broken, and fun all together.
He loves it Feb 06, 2010 I read the reviews for this after I'd already ordered it, so wondered if our almost 2 yr old would like it. I shouldn't have worried. The wings do not give him any trouble scooting around the living room. It has never tipped over. The only complaints are that it's a bit loud and a sticker or 2 were put on sloppy so my son took it upon himself to try to fix it yeah, not possible). My Elmo loving son adores his plane and I've seen his older siblings playing with it too. I didn't score it high for educational value cause it really has none.
